Ah, British Columbia — Canada’s magical land of overpriced lattes, yoga pants, and people who pretend they’re outdoorsy but haven’t been more than six feet from a Starbucks in years. In this video, I take a lighthearted flamethrower to the most west of the West Coast provinces.
From Vancouver, where housing prices are a contact sport, to Victoria, where everyone’s either 90 years old or pretending it’s still 1890 — B.C. is basically Canada’s scenic screensaver. Don’t get me wrong, it’s gorgeous… but so is Photoshop.
We’ll talk about weather that can’t commit, locals who get offended if you don’t compost your feelings, and a coastline so smug it probably writes poetry about itself. Oh, and let’s not forget the endless debate: “Is it raining, or is that just the mist of judgment from the mountains?”
So grab your kombucha, hug a tree, and let’s roast B.C. — because even paradise needs a good-natured takedown sometimes.
