When it comes to caverns and caves, all have their own beauty, but honestly, aside from some interesting history, little sets Fantastic Caverns in Missouri apart. The cave is small, it has no unique features, and much of it you have to see twice because of the way the cave formed.
But where the beauty of the cave did not give it any novelty, the power of human ingenuity did as Fantastic Caverns is the cave you can drive though.
Well, not you… you just go along for the ride.
Pulled along behind a special propane powered Jeep, the cave practically comes to you.
Even though Fantastic Caverns might seem like an unimpressive show cave, the novelty of seeing it comfortably seated inside a vehicle is quite amazing.
