We had a brief yet powerful thunderstorm today and, a couple of hours after it was over, my sister called me up and told me I had to come see what was happening in her driveway.
Earthworms. Thousands of earthworms had emerged from the soaked ground and were parading slowly across the saturated ground. I have never seen this many outside of a bait shop.
As the kids said, it was gross. Awesome, but gross.
