I wasn’t actually able to set foot on Liberty Island during our last minute trip to New York City because, well… it was a last minute trip to New York City and the Liberty Island tickets sell out months in advance.
I was, however, able to get a place on a Liberty Island Cruise despite the best efforts of Top View NYC to ruin everything because we were stupid enough to give them money, and even though we had to put up with some rancid feces from that company just to get on the boat, it was worth it just to see Lady Liberty up close.
Mark my words, when I return I’m getting closer.
