The Cave Without a Name

Welcome to The Cave Without a Name… not that the cave doesn’t have a name, it does. The cave’s name is The Cave Without a Name.

This is a smallish show cave a few miles outside of San Antonio, nothing as large as Natural Bridge Caverns or as showy as Sonora Caverns, but it does have a unique character and beauty about itself, heightened by the fact that the cave plays host to weddings and musical performances.

Almost makes me want to get married… almost.

Soot on the ceiling from a period that the cave was used by moonshiners.
The concert hall.
Appearances can be deceiving! This pool of water is actually four feet deep!
A blind cave frog.
Heading out.
