When I got back from Europe, I was shocked to discover that Evil Kitty had a growth in her ear. Since she’s 16, and we recently lost her sister to cancer, I assumed that it was a fate she was meeting as well.
Fortunately, it wasn’t cancer, but a hematoma, an internal bleeding of the ear. Easily correctable, but by the next day, the ear looked like a balloon.
I took her to the vet and got it drained. Evil Kitty is very angry.
