I took these pictures around 2009 during a trip to Key West, Florida. While the plan for the day was to visit the ocean fort of Tortuga, I missed the boat by literally two minutes and made alternative plans to take a glass bottom boat which, for some incomprehensible reason, decided to show us nothing but muddy rocks and barren sea beds while praising the other side of the island which was, according to the person doing the announcement, exploding with colorful coral. Great! Let’s go there! No? Okay, fine.
I did, however, get a wonderful chance to take these pictures of the setting sun over some of the outlying keys, so it wasn’t a complete loss.
