October 7th, 2018, 9:30 PM… I’ll never forget the date… because my pictures are timestamped on Google Photos.
I was driving my daughter, niece, and their boyfriends home from San Angelo, Texas as I had served as chaperone as they went out on a date which basically meant I paid for everything, provided transportation, and got complained about because I was there.
As we were nearing Sterling City, our hometown, I suddenly noticed something in the western sky… it looked like a bright comet, but it was moving in an arch across the sky. It was so striking, I had to pull over and take some pictures.
I am not a believer in ghosts, gremlins, UFOs, or eskimos but I could not explain this. It was moving too fast for a comet and too slow for a meteor. The kids in the car saw it as well and began to freak out.
After some research, I determined that this UFO… it wasn’t a UFO. It was actually a SpaceX rocket coming in for a landing all the way over in California.
At least, that’s what they want you to believe.
