In this subterranean episode of Filmation Spotlight, Jason Roy Gaston and VHS_Jase don their science goggles and headlamps to spelunk into the molten madness of Filmation’s Journey to the Center of the Earth. Based (and we use that word loosely) on the classic Jules Verne novel, this animated acid trip follows Professor Lindenbrook, his suspiciously heroic student, and a tag-along duck as they dodge lava monsters and science facts with equal enthusiasm.

Is it educational?

Not even remotely.

Is it entertaining?

Also… hmm.
