While Korra’s off doing spirit world stuff (read: conveniently absent), Mako steps up to deliver the most aggressively bland detective performance since your dad tried to solve who ate the last donut. he vows to solve the case, doesn’t solve the case, and ends up making everything worse.  Classic Mako

Meanwhile, Bolin accidentally stumbles into stardom with Nuktuk: Hero of the South, proving that in a world full of bending, even sweet baby angels aren’t above showing off their body for fame and money.

It’s an episode packed with betrayal, sabotage, and more emotional immaturity than a middle school dance. Is it good? Not really. Is it entertaining? Like watching a hot mess unfold in slow motion.

Thank Raava that Varick is here to make the whole thing worth it.   I’m not even mad.  Good for him.
