So I took a trip to Alaska, because I enjoy cold weather, giant mosquitoes, and being aggressively ignored by moose. In this episode of Travels With Jason, I brave the Last Frontier—also known as Canada’s weirdly aggressive faux fur furry tail —and attempt to figure out why anyone would willingly live somewhere where the sun doesn’t set for two months and the bears are basically unlicensed bouncers.
Join me as I playfully roast the state that’s 90% wilderness, 10% tourists who packed the wrong shoes, and 100% confusion about whether it’s daytime or midnight when the real key is just the acceptance that it doesn’t matter. Time has no meaning in this strange land.
It’s beautiful, it’s bizarre, and yes—I totally got lost trying to find a Starbucks. (Spoiler: There isn’t one. You’re in the wild now, Jason.)
#Alaska, you’re cold, expensive, and slightly terrifying… but I love you 😍.
